Job summary

OPTODEV, Inc. in Laguna is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Supervisor (Transitions) to lead P2 planning activities and assist the Supply Chain Section Head in meeting inventory targets for local and offsite distribution centers.

You will mentor planners, ensure policy adherence, collaborate with Customer Service and Production, monitor KPIs, optimize VMI, and participate in cross-functional projects and new product transfers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in supply chain planning.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads and oversees the activities of the Planning Team.
• Ensures that policies and procedures are consistently followed.
• Works closely with the Customer Service Supervisor and Production Planner to ensure excellent service rate to the customers.
• Ensures that customer planners are well-trained and equipped on inventory planning tools.
• Monitors inventory of finished goods and substrates through established KPIs.
• Maintains good inventory levels of finished goods and substrates that support forecasted demand and working capital target.
• Computes and reviews inventory targets and ensure that the level are appropriate to the forecasted demand versus.
• Optimizes VMI calculation/replenishment to support utilization of production capacity where applicable or necessary.
• Leads the resolution of any cross functional customer and supplier issues within Transitions manufacturing facilities or distribution centre.
• Actively participates in projects relating to customers and suppliers including new product introduction and product transfers.
• Actively participates in Transformation projects.
