Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural engineer to join the Global Excellence Centre (GEC) with teams in India, Romania and the Philippines. You will contribute to developing and implementing engineering solutions, coordinating with global offices and stakeholders to deliver high-quality design deliverables.

Ideal candidates will have 4–6 years in structural engineering, a Civil Engineering degree, professional license, and proficiency in major engineering software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• Masters degree is an advantage.
• License in Civil Engineering preferred.
• Working towards Charterships with International Institutes is an advantage.
• 4–6 years of professional experience in structural engineering.
• Experience in a design consultancy firm.
• Proficient in using engineering software SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE, RISA, Robot, TEDDS, Tekla Structures, or SCIA.
• Knowledge of Revit and Navisworks is an advantage.
• Proficient in applying international design standards (US, Canada, UK/I, European and Australian experience).
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Programming knowledge using C++, Python, Dynamo is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out activities to support development and implementation of engineering solutions.
• Provide a substantial technical role for a single discipline on smaller tasks within a project.
• Stakeholder management and ensuring design meets project standards and codes.
• Coordinate with Client, Region and other GECs on engineering deliverables.
• Lead a team on a project.
• Conduct training and guidance to junior team members.
• Develop industry knowledge of international design standards through internal training and certifications.
• Automate design processes and workflows.
• Ensure correctness and quality of project deliverables.
