Job summary

Datawords Philippines is hiring a Social Listening Specialist to monitor dashboards and alerts, review reports, and launch dedicated queries during potential crises. The role covers online news, social conversations, and competitive intelligence for the client and industry with escalation to the French team when needed.

You will work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment from Makati/Cebu offices and collaborate with cross-functional teams under the Web Marketing Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience in media monitoring, reputation management, or PR is preferred.
• Proficient English communication, written and verbal.
• Experience with media monitoring platforms such as Talkwater, Visibrain, Meltwater or Radarly.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and Google Workspace.
• Familiarity with AI tools and Large Language Models (LLMs) like ChatGPT.
• Knowledge of collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Slack.
• Able to manage time and meet deadlines.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Monitor dashboards and alerts to ensure no relevant activity is missed.
• Review automated daily email reports on weekends.
• Launch dedicated monitoring queries during potential crises with escalation as needed.
• Monitor online news and social conversations for client, competitors, and industry.
• Analyze and report on emerging trends, risks, and competitive intelligence.
• Proactively identify developments requiring early visibility and escalate appropriately.
