Job summary

Schneider Electric in a Global role seeks a Service Planning professional to manage customer requests, contracts, and service orders across ERP systems. You will schedule field engineers, coordinate maintenance activities, and ensure timely work order completion while upholding SLAs.

You will partner with Sales, Service Operations, Project Managers, Finance and Logistics to resolve issues, monitor resource workloads, and optimize planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field.
• 3–5 years experience in service planning, scheduling, dispatching, service coordination or order management.
• Experience with ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle), CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and scheduling tools preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data validation and reporting.
• Strong understanding of workforce planning, scheduling, field service operations and SLAs.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process customer service requests, purchase orders, work orders and service contracts.
• Create and update service orders, contracts, billing plans and customer records in ERP and service systems.
• Schedule and dispatch field service engineers based on skills, availability and location.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, emergency service activities and project-related work.
• Monitor resource utilization and adjust schedules to meet SLAs.
• Collaborate with Sales, Service Ops, Project Managers, Finance and Logistics to resolve issues.
• Track service progress and maintain accurate system status updates.
• Coordinate logistics: spare parts, tools, permits and site access.
• Support operational reporting on planning, utilization, backlog and SLA metrics.
• Ensure compliance with processes, governance, audits and documentation.
