Job summary

Manulife invites a Director to advance risk reporting, analytics, automation, and GenAI in Financial Risk Digital Enablement (FRDE). The role spans market, liquidity, model, and reinsurance credit risks, partnering across actuarial, finance, risk, and engineering to streamline reporting and strengthen data governance.

You will lead a team delivering executive dashboards, self-service analytics, and AI-enabled solutions while ensuring regulatory compliance and data quality across platforms.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years in market and liquidity risk analytics, automation, or investment risk technology.
• Experience supporting financial risk management and reporting per IFRS 17/9/LICAT/NAIC/HKRBC.
• Advanced proficiency with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse).
• Experience building enterprise dashboards and data visualizations with SQL/Python and cloud data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Drive advancement of risk intelligence capabilities for senior management and governance committees.
• Design and deliver executive dashboards and analytics platforms with self-service capabilities.
• Lead adoption of AI and GenAI to transform risk reporting and automate processes.
• Establish data governance, controls, model transparency, and regulatory-compliant reporting.
• Lead a high-performing analytics, reporting, and automation team.
• Modernize risk technology solutions balancing transformation with resilience.
