Job summary
Hitachi Rail is seeking an enthusiastic O&M Engineer to join our Manila-based team. The role involves a broad range of activities from administrative to strategic, supporting operations and maintenance plans for rail systems in a global project environment.
The successful candidate will have at least 3 years in railway engineering, strong knowledge of metro subsystems, safety management, and excellent communication.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years railway system engineering experience and knowledge of metro subsystems and interfaces.
- Experience with railway safety management systems and application of regulations in local/international environments.
- Willing to manage international projects and cover global roles.
Responsibilities
- Propose O&M engineering activities and manage operating costs on projects.
- Ensure timely provision of O&M deliverables per schedule and budget.
- Develop and review technical specifications for spare parts and service contracts.
- Prepare and deliver operations analysis, maintenance plans, and manuals.
- Review design changes and participate in design reviews with DB team.
- Support handover from Design and Build to Operator and assist warranty processes.
- Lead and collaborate with suppliers in an integrated supply chain.
