Job summary

Relumins in Quezon City is seeking an experienced Purchasing Officer to manage local and international procurement, optimize inventory, coordinate shipments, and secure best value from suppliers. This role requires strong negotiation, logistics coordination, and a detail-oriented approach.

The ideal candidate will handle supplier quotes, prepare POs, monitor stock levels, and ensure timely deliveries while maintaining accurate purchasing records. You must be able to commute to Quezon City.

Qualifications

• 2 years of importation and shipment experience.
• Experience in local and international purchasing/procurement.
• Knowledge of NetSuite is highly preferred.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Familiarity with inventory monitoring, purchasing documentation, and logistics coordination.
• Strong analytical skills in cost and landed cost analyses.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple orders and suppliers.
• Must be able to commute to or relocate to Quezon City.

Responsibilities

• Handle procurement of local and international supplies required by the company.
• Prepare and submit accurate Purchase Orders (POs) using the company software/system.
• Evaluate supplier quotations, conduct regular price comparisons, and negotiate competitive pricing and terms.
• Monitor inventory and stock levels and identify purchasing requirements based on operational, quarterly, and annual needs.
• Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Coordinate the transportation of goods from suppliers and work closely with the company’s nominated freight forwarders.
• Compare received deliveries against issued purchase orders and coordinate with vendors regarding discrepancies.
• Prepare cost analyses and landed cost analyses.
• Maintain updated records of supplier contracts, invoices, costs, quantities, and other purchasing data.
• Ensure all purchases are properly and promptly recorded in the company software system.
• Maintain organized and complete PO documentation and files.
• Prepare supplier Statements of Account (SOA) and submit them to Finance for payment processing.
• Manage logistics and ensure shipping methods are safe, efficient, reliable, and cost-effective.
• Maintain a database of company-purchased assets and their assignments.
• Perform other purchasing, logistics, and administrative duties as assigned.
