Job summary

Rurex Fabrication and Trading Co., Inc. is seeking a Purchasing Staff to manage purchases, supplier sourcing, and cost control for the Purchasing/Warehouse/Logistics Department in Quezon City.

Responsibilities include inventory-based purchasing decisions, supplier evaluation, and maintaining accurate procurement records. The role requires at least 1 year experience in procurement or purchasing, with a bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field.
• Fresh graduates welcome; trainable.
• At least 1 year procurement/purchasing experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify when new purchases are needed based on inventory levels.
• Find potential suppliers, evaluate offerings, and negotiate prices and terms.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and build strong vendor relationships.
• Create purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely arrival of goods.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and supplier information.
• Liaise with internal teams to coordinate purchasing activities.
• Prepare cost analyses and support efforts to reduce purchasing costs.
• Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Assist Operations with spare parts, equipment and parts requirements.
