EY- GDS Philippines – People Consulting, Payroll – Senior Associate, is looking for a seasoned payroll consultant to support global client payroll transformations and advisory work within a distributed EY team.

The role emphasizes cross‑functional collaboration, domain expertise development and active participation in AI-enabled payroll initiatives, with opportunities for international travel and exposure to a leading global advisor network.

Qualifications

• 5 - 9 years of experience in Payroll consulting and operations domain.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in global payroll advisory.
• Master’s degree in Finance/HR or full time MBA.
• Experience in delivering payroll implementation and transformation programs, as part of a global distributed team.
• Experience of working in a consulting environment.
• Strong understanding of 1 or more payroll technology systems – ADP, PeopleSoft, SAP, etc.

Responsibilities

• Leverage experience in payroll domain to deliver Payroll transformation projects for global clients, in collaboration with other GDS teams and other EY member firms.
• Work on global client projects as part of a global distributed team. Ensure quality of all work outputs, timeliness and accuracy of content.
• Provide domain expertise across multiple Payroll service areas such as Payroll Inputs, Gross to Net processing, Payroll remittances, Garnishments, Workforce management, etc.
• Be recognised as a subject matter expert in one or more areas in the Payroll domain.
• Support development of thought leadership, collateral, tools, techniques, methodologies to enhance payroll advisory and broader capability offering within the practice.
• Support AI/Gen AI/Agentic AI Proof of Concept/Accelerator build within Payroll practice.
• Drive effective client communication, cadence and build relations with client and project team counterparts across global locations. Ensure to obtain excellent feedback from the client and global project counterparts.
