Job summary

SGS Philippines is seeking an Onsite Laboratory Project Manager to lead financial modeling, proposal development and coordination for new and existing onsite laboratories. You will consult with regional teams, country staff and clients to define requirements, costs and schedules, and prepare compelling technical proposals.

In this role you will work with operating affiliates to plan, schedule and manage design, build, renovations and startups, ensuring equipment purchases meet global standards

Qualifications

• University degree in Science or Engineering with strong Geosciences preference.
• Select technical experience in geosciences with business management experience.
• Strong mining and minerals industry knowledge.
• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills in English; other languages valued.

Responsibilities

• Model onsite opportunity financials from regional data and management input.
• Prepare and obtain sign-off on technical proposals and tender submissions.
• Communicate with clients to develop onsite laboratory opportunities and win projects.
• Coordinate scheduling and tracking of lab designs, builds, renovations and expansions.
• Monitor equipment purchasing to ensure global standards and timely delivery.
