Job summary

SGS, the world's leading testing, inspection and certification company, seeks an Onsite Laboratory Project Manager to lead financial modeling and proposals for new and existing onsite laboratories. You will collaborate with regional teams, SGS staff and clients to plan, model, and sign-off on proposals and tenders for onsite laboratory opportunities.

This role requires strong geosciences expertise, robust project coordination, and the ability to navigate multi-team environments across time

Qualifications

• University degree in science or engineering related field with Geosciences preference.
• Experience in geosciences and some business management.
• Strong knowledge of mining and minerals industries.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Model onsite opportunities and prepare technical proposals or tenders.
• Consult with clients, regional staff, and management on requirements and costs.
• Coordinate laboratory design, builds, and upgrades with local teams.
• Monitor equipment purchasing to meet project timelines and standards.
