IQVIA is seeking a Medical Director to join our Medical Services team and provide medical, clinical, and scientific leadership across global and regional clinical research programs. You will serve as a key medical expert throughout the clinical trial lifecycle, partnering with project teams, investigators, and clients to support protocol execution, participant safety, and scientific excellence.

• Medical degree and valid medical license.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical practice after qualification.
• 5-7 years experience in clinical medicine and clinical research in pharma, CRO, or biotech.
• Experience as investigator or in pharma/CRO/biotech industry.
• Knowledge of trial methodology, drug development, and regulatory requirements.
• Board certification in a relevant therapeutic area preferred.
• Ability to provide expert medical consultation across multiple projects.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with clients and teams.
• Willingness to travel regionally and internationally.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as Global and/or Regional Medical Advisor on assigned projects.
• Provide medical and scientific guidance to project teams to ensure patient safety and protocol integrity.
• Support protocol interpretation, patient eligibility, and safety matters.
• Review and provide input on study protocols, CRFs, and SCRs.
• Deliver therapy-area training to clinical teams.
• Attend Investigator Meetings and client meetings.
• Review adverse events and support SAE assessment with Pharmacovigilance.
• Contribute to AOSE and safety evaluations.
• Review CSR narratives and other clinical study deliverables.
• Provide timely medical support for protocol-related questions.
• Develop medically sound study delivery strategies for global trials.
• Partner with BD and operations during proposal development and bid defense meetings.
• Advise on therapeutic landscapes and recruitment strategies.
• Participate in client presentations and scientific discussions.
• Maintain awareness of evolving scientific and regulatory developments.
