Job summary

Black & White Engineering is expanding its Global Engineering Team in Manila, seeking experienced engineers to support global projects, technical reviews, R&D initiatives, and the development of company-wide design standards.

The role requires 7–10 years in a multidisciplinary design consultancy, with expertise in mechanical systems and large-scale projects. Data centre experience is an advantage, along with proficiency in HAP, PipeFlo, Navis, and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Licensed Mechanical Engineer preferred.
• 7–10 years of experience in a multidisciplinary design consultancy environment.
• Experience on large-scale projects; data centre experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with chilled/heating water systems, ventilation, and fuel systems.
• Familiarity with sanitary/plumbing and fire protection systems is advantageous.
• Experience with HAP, PipeFlo, Navis, Bluebeam or similar software.
• Working knowledge of British Standards and international mechanical design codes.
• Experience mentoring or supervising junior engineers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review Stage 2 and Stage 3 design developments for compliance with BWE Brand Design Standards.
• Develop and maintain company-wide technical standards, design guides, and knowledge bases.
• Support bid reviews and technical proposal evaluations.
• Prepare flexible data centre test-fit layouts and efficient plant distribution plans.
• Strengthen BIM standards and processes for global projects; support R&D initiatives evaluating new technologies.
• Perform mechanical engineering calculations and technical studies.
