Job summary

Black & White Engineering in Manila is seeking an Assistant Design Manager to support the delivery of complex data centre projects across APAC. You will work with experienced design managers and gain hands-on exposure from day one.

The role offers structured development, direct mentorship and a fast-growing global team, with real responsibility from the start in schedules, deliverables, reports and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture or equivalent.
• 4–7 years of experience in design consultancy or construction project management, including at least 2 years in a project management capacity.
• Proven ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams across multiple time zones and cultures.
• Strong organisational skills, with experience preparing project schedules, tracking deliverables and maintaining accurate records.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with the communication skills to engage confidently with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Experience with Microsoft Project or equivalent scheduling software is an advantage.

• Support the delivery of complex data centre projects across APAC from Manila.
• Assist in preparing project schedules, tracking deliverables and producing performance reports.
• Support risk management and client delivery with supervision from senior staff.
