Job summary

Abbott, based in Taguig, Philippines, is seeking a GL Accountant to join the Corporate Finance Services (CFS) division. The role covers day-to-day shared service operations including period-end close, intercompany and journal entries, and regulatory reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a B.S. in Accountancy, 3+ years RTR experience in a multi-country SSC, and strong English communication. Korean language skills and SAP S4/HANA experience are advantages.

Qualifications

• B.S. Accountancy graduate; CPA is a plus.
• 3+ years RTR experience in a multi-country shared services environment.
• US GAAP knowledge with practical day-to-day application.
• SAP S4/HANA or similar ERP experience is an advantage.
• Strong English communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Korean language proficiency (Read/Write/Speak) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing period-end-close activities.
• Assist Local Finance Stakeholders with audit requirements during periodic review procedures.
• Responsible for preparation of Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations.
• Participates in process improvement initiatives with the team and/or across organization.
• Participates in the issue resolution.
