Job summary

Advanced Energy in the Philippines seeks a Senior Manager for Automation & Smart Manufacturing to lead global deployment of advanced manufacturing technologies across sites. You will drive automation, robotics, machine vision, Industry 4.0, and smart factory initiatives to boost productivity and quality.

Reporting to the Director, Global Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, you will standardize best practices and coordinate with IT, Operations, and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Certifications in project management, Six Sigma or Industry 4.0 are advantageous.
• 12+ years in manufacturing engineering with automation experience.
• 5+ years in leadership of automation or process engineering teams.
• Experience deploying automation across multiple sites globally.
• Willing to be assigned in Laguna or Cavite with frequent travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the global AME automation roadmap aligned with objectives.
• Lead automation feasibility studies, ROI analyses and CAPEX justification.
• Establish global standards for automation equipment and processes.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams for project execution and readiness.
• Lead AOI/AVI, AI-ML, and vision-based inspection deployments.
• Drive AI, IIoT, real-time monitoring, and digital manufacturing initiatives.
• Develop dashboards and analytics for OEE, FPY, uptime and productivity.
