Job summary

World Vision International (New) is seeking an IT Disaster Recovery Specialist to design, implement, and continuously improve enterprise DR across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments. The role focuses on resilience, RTO/RPO targets, and DR governance while coordinating with global technology teams.

You will drive DR testing, automate recovery workflows, and align DR with ITSM processes to minimize business disruption. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; ITIL Foundation is minimum.
• ITIL Foundation required; ITIL Intermediate/Managing Professional is an advantage; cloud/DR certifications desirable.
• 5+ years' experience in IT Disaster Recovery, Infrastructure Operations, or Business Continuity roles.
• Proven experience designing and implementing DR strategies across cloud (Azure/AWS), hybrid, and on-prem environments.
• Hands-on DR tech experience: Azure Site Recovery, AWS DR patterns, and backup/replication tools.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise DR policies, standards, and governance framework.
• Design DR architecture across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments; implement failover and geo-redundancy.
• Lead DR testing (failover, tabletop, live recovery) and recovery execution.
• Integrate DR with ITSM processes (Incident, Change, Problem) and embed in project delivery.
• collaborate with global teams; ensure audit-readiness and DR readiness tracking.
