Job summary

World Vision International is seeking an IT Disaster Recovery Specialist to design, implement, and continuously improve DR capabilities across our global technology environment. You will ensure resilience of critical systems, cloud platforms, and applications, aligned to RTO and RPO targets, and drive DR testing programs and incident response across distributed teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• ITIL Foundation (minimum); ITIL Intermediate/4 Managing Professional an advantage.
• Certifications in cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) or DR/BC (e.g., DRII/CBCI) desirable.
• 5+ years in IT Disaster Recovery, Infrastructure Operations, or Business Continuity roles.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise DR policies, standards, and governance framework.
• Design DR solutions across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments; implement failover and backup strategies.
• Plan and execute DR drills and tabletop exercises; validate RTO/RPO.
