IWG plc, the world’s largest provider of flexible workspace, seeks a Financial Accounting Senior Analyst to manage intercompany accounting, postings and reconciliations, ensuring financial controls and timely close across global operations.

The role requires at least 6 years in finance, leadership experience, and strong stakeholder management within a multinational context. It offers exposure to audits, process improvements, and close collaboration with Group HQ Finance and Tax teams.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years experience in Finance and Accounting, managing transactional processes within a multinational company or shared service environment.
• At least 4 years in a management or supervisory role.
• Experience of financial accounting and reporting in a blue chip multinational PLC.
• Experience of handling Intercompany processes within a multinational, shared service environment.
• Experience of managing professional teams in a multinational, shared services environment.
• Experience of building strong relationships with peers and Finance Leaders.

Responsibilities

• Complete all operational activity, ensuring it is up to date and meeting the required SLAs.
• Ensure all accounting entries and reconciliations are completed for month end close, or other defined deadlines.
• Constant review of the accuracy of data being delivered, eliminating the risk of any financial impact which was unforeseen.
• Ensure all balance sheet reconciliations are complete, accurate and any reconciling items are resolved & corrected on a timely basis.
• Prepare all balance sheet accounts and reconciliations as part of a monthly process.
• Provide full support to stakeholders, including other Accounting Towers, Group HQ Finance, Tax, Treasury and the GSC Financial Reporting Team.
• Identify process improvements within the GSC finance function and contribute to improvement in other processes.
• Ensure process documentation is complete and up to date.
• Collaborate with other GSC teams, providing support to auditors and legal authorities.
• Ensure future migrations and acquisitions are integrated timely with complete and accurate accounting from the start.
• Escalation of critical issues through a standardized process with quick resolution.
