Job summary

Industri-X in the Philippines is seeking a Purchaser to source, negotiate, and procure industrial parts, equipment, and materials for heavy industry operations. The role involves coordinating with domestic and international suppliers to ensure timely deliveries that meet workshop schedules and project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
• 3–5 years in procurement, purchasing, logistics, or admin roles.
• Experience in industrial/heavy industry purchasing preferred.
• Domestic and international procurement experience.
• Proficient with computer systems, spreadsheets, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate, and procure industrial parts, equipment, and materials.
• Coordinate with domestic and international suppliers for timely deliveries.
• Understand import processes, customs, freight, and documentation.
• Manage procurement from request to delivery and ensure on-time orders.
• Meet procurement timelines to support workshop schedules and projects.
• Maintain communication with suppliers, freight providers, and internal teams.
• Collaborate with workshop, engineering, and operations on requirements and priorities.
• Identify alternative suppliers and cost-saving opportunities during constraints.
