Job summary

BOOSTERFOODS, INC. is seeking a Purchasing/Import Coordinator to consolidate projected POs, create POs in NAV, and manage import documentation. The role requires coordinating with overseas suppliers, brokers, and government agencies to ensure compliant shipping and timely postings by accounting.

The person will handle payments requests, shipping documents, and permit coordination. On-site work in Pasig, with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any four-year course.
• 1 year of purchasing/importation experience is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Demonstrates accountability and ownership of assigned tasks.
• Able to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in written English, with the ability to compose professional emails.
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Consolidation of projected POs from business unit heads.
• Creation of purchase orders using NAV system.
• Request of payment like Telegraphic and Letter of Credit for importable goods.
• Coordinate/liaise with overseas suppliers regarding shipping and verify shipping documents.
• Coordinate/forward shipping documents to the assigned broker to start releasing process.
• Double-check duties and taxes to match broker computations.
• Follow-up releasing status with the broker.
• Knowledge about permit applications with government agencies (FDA, NTC, BOC, OMB, etc.).
• Collate billings from forwarders/brokers for shipment charges and ensure postings by accounting.
