Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting for a Senior GL Analyst to manage end-to-end general ledger activities within a growing SSC footprint in the Philippines. The role involves coordinating with regional stakeholders across the EU and handling month-, quarter-, and year-end closings in a multinational finance environment.

The successful candidate will have 5-7 years of R2R experience, strong SAP/ERP skills, and a background in shared services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in general ledger or R2R accounting.
• Strong experience in month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Background in shared services or multinational companies preferred.
• Prior process improvements or transformation initiative.
• Experience with SAP/S4HANA or ERP systems is an advantage.
• CPA or equivalent certification is a plus but not required.
• Strong understanding of R2R processes and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and post journal entries in SAP with accuracy and compliance.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain account schedules.
• Execute accruals, cost allocations, and other GL adjustments.
• Review trial balances and analyse variances or fluctuations.
• Support financial reporting, consolidation, and account analysis.
• Coordinate with regional stakeholders across EU.
