Job summary

DP World Philippines Logistics, Inc. is seeking a logistics coordinator to manage client coordination and documentation for shipments. The role covers bookings across import/export, customs clearance, local transfers, and monitoring from pickup to delivery with POD.

Strong MS Office skills and experience in freight forwarding are preferred. The candidate will collaborate with carriers, brokers, and trucking teams, ensuring on-time container returns and accurate manifest handling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Custom Administration or Logistics required.
• Experience as customer service assistant/staff in a freight forwarding company preferred.
• Knowledgeable in client coordination, documentation and monitoring of shipments.
• Good interpersonal skills are essential.
• Proficiency in MS Office is required.

Responsibilities

• Booking management, handling, monitoring, and updating to customer.
• Management of day-to-day bookings (import/export/customs clearance, local transfers, domestic/inter-island and triangular), updates, and monitoring of shipments from departure to destination.
• Monitor the execution of shipments (pick up to delivery with POD).
• Coordinate with DP World vendors (carriers, co-loaders, brokers, trucking team).
• Ensure on-time return of containers (empty) for import and timely pre-alerts.
• BL creation/checking/validation; filling of inbound manifests.
