Job summary

Scrubbed is seeking a Financial Due Diligence Associate to support financial due diligence engagements and assist the corporate finance team in delivering high-quality client service. You will participate in buy-side and sell-side projects and analyze target company finances.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and leadership to guide junior staff. Prior experience in transaction advisory or Big 4 is preferred; CPA or related certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• Preferably with at least 1-2 years of transaction advisory services or 2-3 years audit experience.
• Preferably with experience working from the Big 4 firms.
• Excellent interpersonal as well as verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be comfortable working with foreign clients.
• Attention to detail, strong critical thinking, and leadership skills.
• CPAs and other relevant certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements.
• Analyze the financial operations of the target companies and identify issues that may impact the purchase price or any potential deal breakers.
• Perform the typical analyses (e.g. Quality of Earnings, Net Working Capital, etc.).
• Assist in report writing.
• Guide associates in conducting the due diligence exercise.
• Participate in meetings and conference calls with target and client.
• Participate in other ad hoc tasks, as applicable.
