Job summary

DHL Philippines is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead the Finance & Controlling function in Manila. You will set strategic directions, ensure compliance with global DHL and FICO guidelines, and drive KPI achievement across the department.

The role requires senior-level finance leadership in logistics, with strong expertise in IFRS, budgeting, tax, and treasury. You will collaborate with regional offices and manage large, remote finance teams to optimize value for the company.

Qualifications

• Relevant university degree, professional accounting qualification or equivalent (MBA, audit qualification).
• Demonstrated and relevant experience in finance & controlling functions, senior level in logistics.
• Preferred: minimum of 5 years of experience as CFO or Finance Director with P&L responsibility.
• Knowledge in IAS/IFRS and statutory accounting.

Responsibilities

• Sets the strategic directions of the Finance & Controlling Dept.
• Ensures full compliance with DHL worldwide corporate and FICO guidelines.
• Approves and disapproves credit applications of new accounts based on credit evaluation, financial records and related documents.
• Directs the control of expenses and ensures disbursements follow company policies and procedures.
• Oversees budgeting, tax administration and treasury management including cash flow and financing.
• Represents the company in relationships with banks, investment houses and credit/financial associations.
