Job summary

Merck Group is seeking a Business Process Expert in Finance Master Data to own and evolve the harmonized Chart of Accounts across ERP landscapes, ensuring alignment with IFRS and global standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams during system roll-outs and drive continuous improvement in finance process design at scale.

You will apply expertise in SAP FICO, govern General Ledger master data, and support changes across LEAN, QUATTRO, NEXT, and RISE NEO while maintaining

Qualifications

• Holds a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling module structures.
• Ability to analyze complex accounting requirements and translate to system configurations.
• Experience governing master data and maintaining data integrity in ERPs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and evolve a harmonized Chart of Accounts across ERP systems.
• Provide SME on new accounting processes and IFRS changes.
• Support ERP roll-outs with account settings and harmonized concepts.
• Maintain documentation and implement account configurations in SAP FICO.
• Govern General Ledger master data and ensure compliance with global standards.
• Monitor data standards and address deviations; support Global Finance Process Management.
