Job summary

Del Monte Philippines, Inc. (DMPI) is seeking a Pre-Shipment Documentation Supervisor to oversee export documentation for Fresh and Beyond Fresh shipments, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance within cut-off timelines.

You will coordinate with Accounting, PEZA, shipping lines, and internal stakeholders, supervise the documentation team, and drive process improvements to optimize export operations and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Customs Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years in logistics, supply chain, export documentation, shipping, PEZA processing, or related operations.
• Exposure to supervising, coordinating, or guiding staff is preferred but not required for candidates with strong technical documentation experience.
• Familiarity with SAP, shipping line portals, AEDS, E2M, PEZA systems, and documentation tracking tools.
• Knowledge of export documentation, Shipment Instructions, Pro-Forma Bills of Lading, Bills of Lading, and shipping line submission requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accurate and timely export documentation, ensuring compliance with vessel cut-off schedules.
• Ensure PEZA and regulatory compliance through proper processing, monitoring, and maintenance of PEZA, customs, and export documentation requirements and records.
• Coordinate SAP SO/GI activities by monitoring transaction status and working with Finance to resolve posting and documentation issues.
• Monitor documentation performance and costs, tracking errors, amendments, pending items, and export-related expenses while supporting cost-avoidance initiatives.
• Drive process improvements through documentation status reporting, root-cause analysis, SOP updates, and implementation of efficiency-enhancing solutions.
• Supervise and develop the documentation team by assigning priorities, reviewing work quality, coaching staff, monitoring performance, and escalating critical issues to management.
