Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics in Manila seeks a Team Lead to oversee the MNL ISSC Customs group migrations and drive process optimization. You will monitor performance against SLAs, guide process design, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance and KPI achievement.

The role focuses on coaching, reporting, and continuous improvement while maintaining NDA-compliant standards across processes and teams. Manila-based, on-site work with close cross-functional interaction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee countries migrated into MNL ISSC Customs team.
• Strategize to drive process optimization, accountability, and ownership.
• Monitor team and individual performance ensuring compliance with defined SLA.
• Provide guidance on process design and optimization.
• Propose process changes to drive efficiency and improve execution.
• Act as ambassador of BSS MNL ISSC.
• Prepare and present performance reports to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure quality and compliance under NDA, following predetermined processes and SOPs.
• Work closely with associates to increase productivity and foster positive stakeholder relationships.
• Maintain Health & Safety standards for the working environment and staff teams.
• Plan and organize resource requirements.
• Escalate irregularities to Business Support Services Manager for Customs.
• Conduct weekly coaching sessions with team leads.
• Lead resolution of recurring issues.
• Drive continuous improvement of the team and related processes.
• Fulfill tasks and processes within agreed SLA under direction of superiors.
• Proactively improve team performance.
• Engage with relevant stakeholders and conduct regular touchpoints.
• Create a trust‑based, open communication, creative‑thinking environment that fosters cohesive teamwork.
• Motivate and inspire team leaders and members.
• Lead by example, ensuring behavior aligns with words.
• Facilitate problem solving and collaboration.
• Intervene when necessary to aid group issue resolution.
• Keep the team focused and on track.
• Ensure achievement of KPI targets.
• Provide implementation support for the migration of countries under Customs team (off‑site/on‑site).
• Resolve operational issues and address employee performance & conduct as needed.
• Maintain healthy group dynamics.
