Responsibilities

• Sort, deliver and pick up shipments for a courier route in an efficient, cost-conscious manner.
• Meet required delivery windows and ensure timely pickups.
• Provide professional interaction with customers and the public.
• Record shipment activities electronically via a scanner or manually when required.
• Ensure safe handling, security, and integrity of shipments in transit.
• Communicate with Dispatch/Customer Service for changes and act to meet customer needs.
• Handle cash transactions related to deliveries or collections.
• Reconcile non-delivered shipments and prioritize them for next delivery cycle.
• Maintain allocated vehicle(s).
