Job summary

Emapta Philippines is seeking a Bookkeeper to bring Australian bookkeeping expertise to our financial operations. You will handle bank reconciliations, payroll processing, BAS/IAS lodgments, and client reporting, while collaborating with Australian accounting professionals.

The role offers hybrid work from Makati and a pathway to international opportunities within Emapta. As part of our team, you will maintain accurate financial records, manage client accounts, and ensure compliance with BAS,

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of bookkeeping experience including payroll and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, Reckon or QuickBooks across multiple platforms.
• Knowledge of Australian bookkeeping and compliance: BAS, IAS, PAYG, payroll tax, WorkCover.
• Excellent attention to detail and accurate financial record-keeping.
• Strong written and verbal communication with a client-focused approach.
• Solid organizational and time management skills; able to meet deadlines.
• Discretion with confidential client and financial information.

Responsibilities

• Complete client bank and account reconciliations within agreed timelines.
• Process client payroll and maintain payroll records.
• Enter supplier invoices and manage creditor payments (ABA files where applicable).
• Prepare and issue customer invoices and monthly management reports.
• Maintain budgets and client accounting files; configure software as needed.
• Utilize cloud platforms (Xero, MYOB, Reckon, QuickBooks) for client records.
• Provide BAS, IAS lodgments and payroll tax reporting support.
