Job summary

IEC Greentech Inc. in the Philippines seeks an Accounting Officer to ensure accurate daily recording of financial transactions, maintain ledgers, and perform reconciliations.

You will support monthly closings, AP/AR processes, and tax compliance while coordinating with the Japan Head Office to keep reports accurate and timely. The role requires 2–3 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and a solid understanding of Philippine taxation and BIR requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Knowledge of Philippine accounting and taxation, including BIR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions accurately and completely.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist in monthly and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare accounts payable and accounts receivable reports.
• Monitor cash position and perform bank reconciliations.
• Assist in preparation of tax returns and reports for BIR.
