Job summary

Digitally Intelligent Facility System in Laguna, Philippines is seeking an Accountant to manage end-to-end financial processes. You will review and approve transactions, lead month-end and year-end closes, and prepare key financial statements.

The role requires 2–3 years of accounting experience, strong knowledge of BIR compliance, and a detail-oriented, organized approach to maintain accurate records and effective internal controls. You will also support budgeting and tax remittance activities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.
• 2–3 years of experience in the accounting field.
• Experience in BIR compliance and processes.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong knowledge in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and accounting procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve financial transactions, journal entries, reconciliations, and cash disbursements.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes for prompt, accurate books.
• Prepare or oversee key financial statements including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow.
• Prepare financial reports and variance analyses for management.
• Assist in budgeting and financial forecasts.
• Ensure timely filing of BIR tax returns (VAT, withholding, ITR).
• Coordinate with SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG remittances and filings.
• Ensure compliance with PFRS and maintain strong internal controls.
• Perform reconciliations (bank, GL) and maintain financial records.
