Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a GL and Reconciliation Accountant to ensure the accurate closing of accounting records across multiple entities. You will prepare bank and credit card reconciliations, journal entries, and monthly close under the Accounting Manager’s guidance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, at least three years of general accounting experience, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to work night shifts aligned with U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least three years of general accounting, bank reconciliation, financial statement prep, or month-end close.
• Strong Excel skills with pivot tables, lookups, and reconciliations.
• Clear written and verbal communication; able to work with US time zones.
• Willingness to work night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare recurring and adjusting journal entries with calculations, approvals, and documentation.
• Review general ledger activity for unusual or misclassified items and recommend corrections.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet schedules and reconcile accounts to statements and subledgers.
• Support monthly close for assigned entities, including real estate, within deadlines.
• Prepare payroll, prepaid expenses, accruals, fixed assets, and other supporting schedules.
• Assist in VAT, sales tax, audits, and third‑party compliance requests.
• Maintain reconciliation schedules with opening/closing balances and resolutions.
