Job summary

NinjaOne in Manila, Philippines is seeking a General Ledger Accountant to oversee GL functions and reconciliations, and to assist in month-end close in coordination with our US Accounting Manager. The role ensures GAAP compliance across the organization.

We require 4-6 years GL experience, strong US GAAP knowledge, and a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance. CPA is preferred but not required; Netsuite and advanced Excel are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare flux analyses and consolidations including intercompany transactions.
• Partner with US Accounting Manager to ensure international accounting is complete and GAAP compliant.
• Review supplier invoices and support AP processes; assist audits.
• Ensure financial reporting accuracy per internal policies.

As a General Ledger Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the general ledger functions, perform account reconciliations, and assist in the month-end close process including partnering with our US Accounting Manager. You will collaborate with various departments and work closely with the Controller to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Location - Hybrid remote in Manilla, Philippines. 8am - 5pm PST schedule

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual flux analysis
• Prepare consolidations, intercompany transactions, and reconciliations including foreign currency accounting.
• Partner with US Accounting Manager to ensure all international accounting is complete
• Support AP processes by reviewing, verifying, and processing supplier invoices
• Ensure the accuracy of financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and compliance with internal policies and procedures
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with audits
• Perform other duties as needed

About You

• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience
• 4-6 years of GL Accounting experience
• Strong understanding of US GAAP
• CPA preferred but not required.
• Possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively organize and present information and respond to questions.
• Experience in analyzing large transactional volumes, preparing trend analysis, and resolving variance issues.
• Independent thinker and problem solver with ability to present solutions.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks appropriately, and handle multiple responsibilities at once.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with Netsuite or equivalent required.
• Advanced excel skills.
