Job summary

CBRE Asia Pacific is seeking a Maintenance Technician to care for small to medium-sized buildings and industrial systems in General Trias, Cavite. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and support repairs of building equipment under supervision.

The role requires hands-on work with Genset monitoring and facilities management, strong communication, and proficiency in MS Office. This position is full-time and based at the General Trias site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in genset monitoring and facilities management.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on building systems.
• Diagnose problems, conduct routine inspections, and make repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and coordinate completion with available resources.
• Support energy management to ensure building systems run efficiently.

About The Role

As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You’ll Do

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
• Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.
• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

What You’ll Need

• NC2 EIM or relevant educational background. At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in Genset monitoring and facilities management
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
