Job summary

JS Unitrade Merchandise, Inc. is seeking a General Ledger Analyst to maintain the integrity of financial records, prepare journal entries, and reconcile accounts.

You will assist with month-end and year-end closes, ensure compliance with policies and regulations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on reporting and audits. This role is onsite in Ortigas City and requires attention to detail, CPA or relevant certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, CPA is required.
• Experience in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) preferred.
• At least 2-4 years of relevant experience in general ledger, reconciliations, or financial reporting, preferably in FMCG or distribution industry, audit firm, Finance shared services company.
• Willing to work onsite in Ortigas City.

Job Summary

The General Ledger (GL) Analyst is responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the organization's financial records. This role involves preparing journal entries, reconciling general ledger accounts, assisting with month-end and year-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. The GL Analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting and audit requirements and plays a key role in identifying process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the general ledger function.

Technical Skills

• General ledger expertise: strong background in journal entries, Balance Sheet account reconciliations, accruals, amortizations and provisions.

• Experience in month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.

Leadership & Interpersonal Skills

• Clear in explaining technical issues to non-Finance stakeholders.

• Works effectively with cross-functional teams.
