Job summary

Top Source Executive Search, Inc. is seeking a General Accounting lead responsible for delivering and ensuring the integrity of accounting processes. The role manages month-end close, policies, and collaboration with regional finance stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred with 5-6+ years in General Accounting.

We expect experience in leading teams, process improvement, ERP transitions, and NetSuite proficiency to drive accurate financial reporting and close cycles.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee General Accounting processes including month-end close activities and financial statements
• First point of contact for General Accounting issues
• Manage closing process, reconciliations, adjustments and eliminations
• Responsible for high-quality and timely financial reporting
• Engage stakeholders and provide regular updates
• Analyze financial performance and provide insights
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and reporting requirements
• Collaborate with FP&A, AR and AP teams
• Contribute to process optimization initiatives

Overall Description

Accountable for the delivery and integrity of General Accounting processes and leads the team through month-end close; ensures consistency in accounting policies; acts as primary escalation point for complex accounting processes and collaborates with regional finance stakeholders.

Experience
