Job summary

MR DIY Philippines is looking for an Accounting Staff to manage financial statements, perform reconciliations, and assist in audits. The ideal candidate will need a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, with a preference for CPA and at least 1 year experience in general accounting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Reconcile financial statements and accounts for data accuracy.
• Perform bank reconciliation and liquidation of cash advances.
• Support monthly and annual closing procedures.
• Prepare tax working files and ensure timely filing.
• Assist in audits and government-required procedures.
• Conduct bookkeeping and record transactions.
• Perform other assignments as given.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile financial statements and accounts, including GL account checking and reconciliation, ensuring data accuracy through regular checks of assigned accounts.
• Perform bank reconciliation and liquidation of cash advances.
• Support monthly and annual closing procedures by recording accruals, reclassifying accounts, maintaining schedules, and ensuring data completion.
• Prepare tax working files, file returns, and ensure timely filing and payments.
• Assist in internal and external audits, as well as other government-required procedures.
• Conduct bookkeeping and recording of transactions.
• Perform any other work or assignments given by the General Accounting Supervisor and GA Manager.
