Job summary

Foodcrafters Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage general accounting, payroll checking, and close journal books. You will maintain the general ledger, run monthly reconciliations, monitor cash position, handle banking transactions, and ensure policy compliance.

1-3 years' experience preferred; CPA is a plus; strong communication and integrity are essential for timely, accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• 186 years' experience in general accounting, treasury, or payroll review.
• CPA is an advantage.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Integrity and confidentiality in handling financial data.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and post journal entries and ensure proper closing of journal books
• Maintain accurate general ledger and perform monthly reconciliations
• Check payroll computations, deductions, and adjustments for accuracy and compliance
• Monitor daily cash position and prepare cash flow summaries
• Handle banking transactions including deposits, fund transfers, and bank reconciliations
• Review and validate check vouchers and supporting documents prior to disbursement
• Analyze and investigate variances in expenses, payroll, and financial records
• Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing and reporting
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and audit requirements
• Maintain organized and complete financial documentation
