Job summary

Hubexo is hiring a General Accounting Analyst to support accurate execution of GA activities and assist with period-end close for designated entities/regions. You will help deepen accounting capabilities in a global environment and contribute to process improvements as the SSC scales.

The role offers exposure to international finance operations, collaboration with regional and global stakeholders, and opportunities to grow within Hubexo’s new Finance Shared Services Centre.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 1–3 years’ experience in General Accounting or a similar finance role.
• Exposure to month-end close support and basic reconciliations.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and collaboration skills.
• Proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable working across deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Record transactions and support period-end close activities.
• Process journal entries, accruals, and intercompany transactions.
• Assist with payroll, project accounting, and fixed asset accounting as required.
• Prepare trial balances and support reconciliations to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve queries and support accurate reporting.

The opportunity (Pioneer Finance Shared Services Team)

This is a pioneer role within Hubexo’s newly established Finance Shared Services Centre. You’ll play a key part in building a high-performing finance operation — contributing not just to day-to-day delivery, but also to how we work, collaborate, and continuously improve. You’ll work closely with regional and global stakeholders, gain exposure to international finance operations, and grow as the SSC expands.

About the role

As a General Accounting Analyst, you will support accurate execution of GA activities and play a key role in period-end close support for assigned entities/regions. What you’ll be responsible for

Service delivery

• Record transactions and support period-end close activities
• Process journal entries, accruals, and intercompany transactions
• Assist with payroll, project accounting, and fixed asset accounting as required
• Prepare trial balances and support reconciliations to ensure reporting accuracy

Quality, controls and compliance

• Maintain accurate documentation and follow SOPs and internal controls
• Support eliminations and reporting preparation as part of close cycles

Improvement and collaboration

• Prepare financial data to support reporting and decision-making
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and SOP updates
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve queries and support accurate reporting
