Job summary

Hubexo is building its first Finance Shared Services Centre in Manila. As General Accounting Team Lead, you will drive GA delivery quality, lead month-end close cycles, and escalate complex accounting matters to ensure accurate reporting while maturing SSC processes.

You will collaborate with regional and global stakeholders, shaping standards and improvements as Hubexo expands its SSC capabilities across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 6+ years' GA experience with leadership exposure.
• Strong month-end close, reporting, and account review experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee GA activities for assigned entities/regions, including month-end close and reporting.
• Manage complex reconciliations, journal entries, adjustments, eliminations, and account reviews.
• Maintain a strong close rhythm aligned to calendars and stakeholder expectations.
• Ensure GA activities comply with accounting standards, internal controls, and policies.
• Review and approve complex entries and reconciliations to protect reporting integrity.
• Identify operational risks and ensure issues are resolved effectively.
• Act as the first point of contact for GA escalations within scope.
• Collaborate with FP&A, AP, AR, and regional finance teams to support alignment.
• Support transitions, stabilisation, system enhancements, and process improvements.

The opportunity (Pioneer Finance Shared Services Team)

This is a pioneer role within Hubexo's newly established Finance Shared Services Centre. You'll play a key part in building a high-performing finance operation - contributing not just to day-to-day delivery, but also to how we work, collaborate, and continuously improve.

You’ll work closely with regional and global stakeholders, gain exposure to international finance operations, and grow as the SSC expands.

About the role

As General Accounting Team Lead, you will be accountable for GA delivery quality and month-end close execution for assigned entities/regions. What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 6+ years' GA experience, including leadership exposure
• Strong month-end close, reporting, and account review experience
• Effective people leadership and prioritisation across tight deadlines
• NetSuite experience preferred; strong stakeholder communication essential
