Job summary

The General Accountant at Jobless oversees the procurement process and supports closing books, monthly reporting, and compliance submissions for the finance team. You'll prepare management reports, assist with VAT/EWT filings and maintain accurate accounts, working with the procurement supervisor and auditors as needed.

A CPA is preferred; a bachelor’s in Accountancy is required, with 2–3 years in end-to-end accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy is required.
• CPA license is preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and summarization.
• Experience with MS Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online/Desktop.

Responsibilities

• Assist on analytical procedures for financial and non-financial reports of the Finance Department.
• Assist in filing disbursement vouchers for auditors and addressing audit findings.
• Monitor accounts in the financial statements and assist in VAT and EWT filings.
• Supervise PRs, canvassing and PO preparation for the company.
• Monitor filing of disbursement vouchers and assist liquidation reporting.
• Handle taxation filings and other regulatory filings.
