• Strong experience with month-end close, including posting journal entries and accruals.
• Experience with balance sheet reconciliations and P&L variance analysis.
• Experience in intercompany reconciliations and reconciling items.
• ERP experience required; Dynamics 365 Business Central is a strong plus.
• Ability to research and resolve accounting discrepancies independently.
• Strong Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) and data analysis.

demonstrate hands-on experience with:

• Journal entries and accruals
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• P&L and balance sheet variance analysis
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Researching and clearing reconciling items

Key Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on general accounting / GL experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Strong experience with month-end close, including:
• Preparing and posting journal entries
• Accruals and recurring entries
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Reviewing P&L and balance sheet activity
• Researching and explaining variances
• Experience reconciling and maintaining key balance sheet accounts.
• Ability to independently research and resolve accounting discrepancies rather than only prepare entries.
• Experience with bank and intercompany reconciliations.
• Working knowledge of fixed assets and depreciation.
• Experience supporting financial reporting and audit requests.
• Strong Excel skills, particularly PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and reconciliation/analysis of large data sets.
• ERP experience required. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience is a strong plus.
• Experience working across multiple entities, divisions, or locations is preferred.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to meet month-end deadlines.
