Job summary

REED ELSEVIER SHARED SERVICES (PHILIPPINES) INC. is seeking a General Accountant to manage general ledger activities, ensure accuracy of financial transactions, and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.

You will handle balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, intercompany accounting, and financial reporting while maintaining strong internal controls. The role requires ERP experience (SAP/Oracle/PeopleSoft) and advanced Excel, plus excellent communication and stakeholder skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related course
• 2+ years experience in Record-to-Report or General Accounting
• Experience with ERPs (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft); advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint; MS Access/Project a plus
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must have stakeholder management experience
• Must be independent yet a strong team player
• Ability to quickly learn and apply enterprise AI tools and technologies to support workflows
