Qualifications

• At least 2 years of accounting experience in General Accounting or related functions.
• Experience in insurance, brokerage, or financial services is advantageous.

• Maintain accurate accounting records and journal entries.
• Prepare and monitor invoices, collections, and accounts receivable aging.
• Process supplier payments and manage accounts payable.
• Assist with payroll preparation and reconciliation.
• Prepare financial reports and management reports as required.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable General Accountant to support the company's day-to-day accounting operations. The role is responsible for managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing and collections, payroll support, financial reporting, cash monitoring, and maintaining accurate accounting records.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and journal entries.
• Prepare and monitor invoices, collections, and accounts receivable aging.
• Process supplier payments and manage accounts payable.
• Prepare partner remittances and agent commission schedules.
• Assist with payroll preparation and reconciliation.
• Monitor company cash flow, expenses, and employee advances.
• Perform account reconciliations and assist in month-end closing.
• Maintain organized accounting files and supporting documents.
• Prepare financial reports, schedules, and management reports as required.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, insurance partners, and internal departments regarding financial matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Accounting, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of accounting experience in General Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, or related functions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational abilities.
• Experience in insurance, brokerage, financial services, or similar industries is an advantage.
• CPA license is not required.
