Job summary

ADP Industries Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented General Accountant with at least 2 years of experience in general accounting, including bookkeeping, and a strong understanding of GAAP. The role requires teamwork and accuracy in financial reporting.

The candidate will handle worksheets, journal entries, payroll-related postings, tax withholdings, and monthly closings, while ensuring accuracy in bank reconciliations and inventory counts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in General accounting including Bookkeeping.
• Understanding of GAAP accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare worksheets, compute and post journal entries for import landed costs, monthly inventory, and staff payroll.
• Prepare reports and attachments: Monthly SSS, Pag-ibig & PHIC contributions, Monthly Withholding Tax: compensation & expanded.
• Reconcile all bank accounts.
• Manage monthly inventory counts.
• Conduct monthly analysis of accounts as directed by Department Head.
• Assist Department Head in preparing Financial Statements including month-end adjustments, corrections and accruals.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Department.

1. Worksheet preparation, computation, journal entry preparation and posting for the for the following: Import Landed cost, Monthly Inventory, Staff Payroll
2. Report and related attachment preparation: Monthly SSS, Pag-ibig & PHIC contributions, Monthly Withholding Tax: compensation & expanded
3. Reconciliations of all bank accounts
4. In charge of Monthly Inventory count
5. Monthly analysis of certain accounts as determined by the Department Head
6. Assist Department Head in the preparation of Financial Statements including prepartion of month-end adjustment, correcting and accrual entries
7. Performs other functions as occasionally required by the Department
