Job summary

MicroSourcing in Libis, Quezon City, Philippines seeks a General Accountant to maintain and reconcile general ledger, perform month‑end close, prepare financial statements, and support audits in a compliant, efficient environment.

The role requires 3–5 years in general accounting, a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, and proficiency with Xero/QuickBooks/NetSuite and advanced Excel; BAS/GST/FBT is a plus, with CA/CPA/ACCA a plus. Company offers above-market compensation and healthcare from day one.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of solid experience in general accounting or corporate finance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• Proficiency with cloud‑based ERP systems (Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Solid grasp of GAAP or IFRS, financial analysis, and internal control structures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accurate transaction recording.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and fixed‑asset depreciation.
• Prepare accurate, timely financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow) in accordance with accounting standards.
• Perform monthly bank, credit‑card, and inter‑company reconciliations.
• Support or oversee AP/AR functions, verifying invoice approvals and tracking aging schedules.
• Assist internal and external audit preparations by providing required documentation, schedules, and workpapers.
