About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented General Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure compliance with Philippine regulations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company’s financial health.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle full-cycle accounting functions
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Prepare and process checks and payments
• Oversee payroll processing
• Ensure compliance with BIR (Bureau of Internal Revenue) regulations
• Prepare and submit mandatory government reports (e.g., SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG)
• Perform account reconciliations
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements
• Maintain organized and updated financial records

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proven experience as a General Accountant or similar role
• Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting standards and BIR compliance
• Experience in AP/AR, payroll, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a startup or fintech environment
• Familiarity with financial systems and reporting tools
• CPA license is an advantage (but not required)
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
