Job summary

NU Las Piñas is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join the finance team in Las Piñas. The role focuses on preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring timely reporting to management and regulators.

The ideal candidate has a BS Accountancy, 2–5 years in financial reporting or external audit, and familiarity with PFRS, taxation, and SAP. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• CPA preferred; strong knowledge of PFRS, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
• BS Accountancy graduate with 2–5 years in financial reporting or audit.
• Proficient in Excel; familiarity with SAP.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports to management and regulatory agencies.
• Manage tax compliance activities, including preparation, filing, and reconciliation of taxes.
• Monitor compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and oversee account reconciliations.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance financial reporting accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
• BS Accountancy graduate
• At least 2–5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, taxation, or external audit
• Candidates with at least two busy seasons of external audit experience are encouraged to apply
• Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), taxation, and regulatory compliance
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with SAP
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
