Job summary

Rephil Station Inc. is seeking a General Accountant to oversee daily accounting operations, ensure accuracy of financial records, and prepare timely reports. The role will supervise accounting staff, monitor transactions, and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

The candidate will review daily transactions, prepare monthly statements, perform reconciliations, and assist in improving processes and internal controls to boost efficiency and accuracy across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• At least 2–3 years of relevant general accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience preparing financial statements and analyzing data.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and cross-department collaboration.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• ERP/accounting software experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review and monitor daily accounting transactions for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of sales, purchases, inventories, and other key accounts.
• Reconcile general ledger with subsidiary ledgers regularly.
• Prepare and monitor monthly importation reports and local raw materials purchase reports.
• Analyze financial transactions and variances in monthly statements.
• Maintain records for related-party transactions.
• Ensure accounting documents are complete, accurate, and filed properly.
• Compile accounting records for audits and reporting.
• Review the work of Accounting Associates for accuracy and timeliness.
• Supervise and coach Accounting Associates for their development.
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyses as needed by management.
• Help improve accounting processes and internal controls.

• Analyze financial transactions and monthly financial statement accounts to identify variances and discrepancies.

• Review the work of Accounting Associates to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Supervise, coach, and provide guidance to Accounting Associates to support their professional development.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
• At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in General Accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or trading environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and account reconciliation.
• Experience in preparing financial statements and analyzing financial data.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience using ERP or accounting software is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet reporting deadlines.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising or mentoring accounting staff is preferred.
